While there are a select few coworkers that I enjoy working with, many of them lack professionalism and and a team-oriented mindset.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership should receive more training in team building and integrity in the work place.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Leadership does not seem to value the ifficers that work there. Hardwork is rarely rewarded by recognition.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There needs to be higher professional standards for the type of people that are hired. I believe that team building exercises should be implemented and encouraged.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Lieutenant Miller goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of his officers. He is an outstanding role model for all that come in contact with him.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued by the lack of security for front entry staff. At our two neighboring facilities, there are secure gates that prevent free access to the facilities, however, at the D. Ray facilty we do not have that. This allows the public and visitors free access to the front entry staff.
