The company reduced overall benefits and bonuses for lower level employees during the rise of inflation and cost of living increased. The company doesn't seem like it actually cares to pay their essential workers a living wage

I believed I have met and exceeded expectation in company, i have gained more responsibilities but very difficult to get higher job position. I have noticed other employees for other departments are seen and recognized more frequently which makes me feel frustrated.

I feel undervalue because compare to the industry in the country where I leave and my position I am underpaid. I have an old contract and recently rejoined the company, so I think this will change by the next salary/compensation review.

My immediate peers and I have a tight-knit group. We struggle with the expectation of managing work in ways that do not work well for us, simply because management mandated that all work be handled in the manner that fits most, but not all.

Lower level management needs to see their staff as people, not just money generators. It would also be nice if all groups across UL implemented the same policies instead of leaving things up to 'managers discretion'.

Is difficult to see a change if the people does not believe that we need to change and start doing things different. Maybe if the people start looking that the comments shared on the last year survey have been taken seriously they will start believing that they can change

Management needs to be changed. The Alpha model is terrible and is not effective. People need to be held accountable who create terrible tools for us to work with.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The behavior questions are lengthy and repetitive. Our specific team has implemented a more personal approach to interviewing like having other team members participate, tour and feel involved in the decision making process. This isn't general practice at UL though.
