Simply Put, its the people I work with. They are why I remain at Whole Foods when other opportunities beckon.
So devoted, and crazy smart. I learn so much from them that its almost become one of the most important benefits of working at Whole Foods.
Its obvious people care about other people. Whether thats our customers, our co-workers, or our stakeholders. There is a very human feel to every decision we make. It's reflective of Cost/Benefit analysis but the human element is always present.
They really do believe in the leadership principles and show that every day. The kind of colaborative leadership style "Servant Leadership" is unlike anywhere I have ever worked. Its effective and refreshing. Whole foods Feels like a Family as a result.
We opperate at about 80% of industry standard for most of our roles here at whole foods. The work life balance really saves it, and the love for this company and for the people here are basically the only reason somebody would stay unless they had zero ambition. Its easy to be comfortable.
