I have been working virtually for over 10 years and many of my co-workers are virtual. Xerox pushed us virtual in a attempt to save money and off load some properties. Working virtual is the most positive thing we have.

Management always manipulates employees into doing work they won't be compensated for. They talk teamwork but don't allow it because of the compensation structure. They report false sales numbers at team meetings. They change the comp plans mid-year. Get rid of half the middle managers and be honest

Xerox focuses more on profit at the expense of the employees who deliver the services to make the profits for Xerox. There is no turning back for improvement because many of the employees are temps with no rights and who live in fear even if a temp higher up assaults them or abuses them.
