The amount of work expected to be done by so few people is ridiculous. Our systems are cobbled together and our technical resources are either too buried to make a dent in their project backlog, too burned out & check out, or not competent enough.

I would like my role to have defined goals and responsibilities. I would like to be able to benchmark my salary against similar goals at other companies. But I am somewhat a 'jack of all trades', making it difficult to gauge how I compare to the market.
