My leadership team is the BEST. They are not only fabulous at their jobs, but they also care personally for each person on our team.

I appreciate the open communication between the leadership team and staff. Staff feedback are actioned on and the focus on safety is commendable. At first I thought it was focused to those that are on the roofs, but later learned that this focus also applies to the safety of customer facing staff

Communicating the goals, and sticking with them for enough time to implement the goal.

they need to engage with employees. So disengaged right now. There needs to be authenticity and transparency. they need to recruit diversity at the top. POV skewed heavily rich white male with way too many sports analogies.

Increased Compensation. Sunrun is far below the area (Lehi, UT) compensation average allowing other companies to look more inticing.

Treating people like people. I've gone to HR and Directors in my chain of command and my supervisor still is the most impersonal, unfriendly working relationship I've ever had professionally.

The whole benefit package is outstanding.

The compensation package seems to be at market rates and there's a holistic approach to the fringe benefits. I have yet to use it, but hear that we have mental health benefits as well, which has never been included at other companies.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like my role to have defined goals and responsibilities. I would like to be able to benchmark my salary against similar goals at other companies. But I am somewhat a 'jack of all trades', making it difficult to gauge how I compare to the market.

My team is collaborative and backs up other employees meeting departmental goals. The team is supportive both within the department and with other departments.

The strong team dynamic we enjoy can largely be attributed to our exceptional manager. Under his leadership, we have been able to thrive as a team. We work collaboratively, respecting, assisting, and encouraging one another. He actively listens to our concerns and advocates for us when necessary.

Be less transphobic. I believe mandatory lgtbq+ diversity training would assist in this a lot, but they do nothing like that

Attitude and bringing a can do attitude. I seem to work with quite a few angry and disgruntled employees. Their communication needs enhancements and takes away from the positive culture here at sunrun.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The amount of work expected to be done by so few people is ridiculous. Our systems are cobbled together and our technical resources are either too buried to make a dent in their project backlog, too burned out & check out, or not competent enough.

Stop turning Sunrun into Vivint! there's a reason Sunrun bought Vivint and not the other way around. Watching Sunrun's culture be destroyed and replaced with "we're crushing it" has been very very sad

I see passion at all levels of the company. We could better take advantage of that passion with more precise strategic goals per quarter, per major functions (sales, construction, tech, finance, service, etc) that tie into corporate quarterly goals. we need to bring back OKRs or something comparable
