Overall it's been a good experience working for Esri, but depending on what team you're on, you have to be willing to find your own lane and create/pursue projects that are valuable and fulfilling. Self-starters and intellectual curiosity are rewarded.

Esri has historically underpaid its employees. Given my contributions to the company over many years, including building the foundation for an entire product and team, I feel under-compensated.

My team are extremely talented with varied strengths and abilities - across the board, we can usually meet any project challenge that comes our way. They're also good people who I enjoy being around.
