Trust is in important at every organization. Generally we look at follower trust in leaders, but over the last 10 years I have seen leaders demonstrate greater trust in followers. This trust dynamic is a critical piece of what I like most about the leadership team.

Insurance that is supplied is good

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The range for my role is from 35 to 65 per hour. The midpoint is 50. My rate is $45. I have solid 5+ years business analyst background as well as dual master's degree, plus multiple highly recognized professional certificates.

I don't feel undervalued. However, with the responsibilities me and my counterparts have, I feel the compensation should align with the expectations for our role.

Because when promoted, there is no pay increase and you have to trust that each year they are accounting for an adjustment to get someone in the proper range. Also, there are some people hired at higher wages off the bat some I feel if you have been here for a while, you may be paid lower.

I feel that sometimes job definitions are adjusted to meet the desired pay range. When in reality broader scope of work is done and pay should be higher to be more competitive.

Work-life balance is genuinely prioritized.

Esri is unique. It is a private company which brings huge advantages to culture. Budgets exist, but they function differently. If there is a justified need, outside of the budget, Esri will fund the need. This approach enables flexibility and a nimbleness unseen in large organizations.
