Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I started out as an individual contributor. A year and a half later I advanced to a Supervisor role. A year after that I was promoted to Manager. A year later I was awarded with a Fellowship Award earning my graduate degree. Last year I was promoted to Director.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

1) Health insurance premiums 2) The Exempt but hourly model that incentivizes productivity 3) Profit Sharing

There are both people that inspire and people to inspire with a diverse background of ideas that fosters collective creativity.

What makes you most happy at work?

I feel like the work I do matters. What we do empowers customers to impact the world around them in positive ways.

I really appreciate working for a company that has effective balanced company success in profitability with a product that has been used by our customers to make the world a better place.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

1) There is a clear vision that is positively impacting the world. 2) It is fairly easy to gain access to the leadership team for idea development even as a fairly new or lower level employee.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I really appreciate the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives especially as it relates to collective creativity. A teammate who spent 2 years escaping communism behind the iron curtain of Eastern Europe, brings a unique perspective that can influence creative problem solving.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Esri's commitment to paying employees for every hour worked is a key differentiator from other organizations. It incentivizes employees to go the extra mile. That combined with the ability to bank hours creates a win win opportunity for the organization and employees.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I like the diversity of ideas that Esri fosters as a private organization. Esri is not beholden to the whims of the market or the emotional rollercoaster of many ESG ideas. Esri takes a very holistic approach to its role in the world.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Esri is unique. It is a private company which brings huge advantages to culture. Budgets exist, but they function differently. If there is a justified need, outside of the budget, Esri will fund the need. This approach enables flexibility and a nimbleness unseen in large organizations.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Trust is in important at every organization. Generally we look at follower trust in leaders, but over the last 10 years I have seen leaders demonstrate greater trust in followers. This trust dynamic is a critical piece of what I like most about the leadership team.
