I have a college education, and I have worked in my position for almost 7 years. A new hire starting yesterday makes more money than I do. When I ask management for a raise they tell me they don't have the money.

The pay is very low and Esri should be paying living of standard and not want more for less money. Happy employees are more productive and increase overall experience of the company. Directors micro -manage heads of departments instead of them lead their departments as they see fit.

I wouldn't say there is a culture because that is up to Esri to provide events for their employees to come together. They only provide a minor breakfast for thanksgiving but they could do so much more. Summer, Christmas events, raffle prizes, things to allow the people to enjoy themselves.

Management is disconnected from reality. We receive no cost of living increases and our merit increases don't even keep up with inflation. New hires are making more than employees of over 15+ years experience. When complaints are made HR and Management fight over whose responsibility it is.

The return of the Work From Home option would make me happy. There's nothing I do in my job that cannot be done remote. For a company with 'Environmental' in their name, requiring us to get in a car & commute to the office every day isn't very environmentally friendly.

In 30 years with the company, I've watched things change & not for the better. Benefits are great, pay's not commensurate with industry standards. The return to office mandate is counter to ESRI's professed concern for the environment. WFH worked; it's good for the planet & workers mental wellbeing.

I feel undervalued. Opportunities for career growth are limited and often shut down. New hires make more money than 7+ year experienced employees. Esri tries to justify low pay with "great" benefits but these benefits are industry standard. Also, I can't pay rent or buy groceries with benefits.
