I am so glad that I landed here. Being in IT, I am used to being treated like an exploitable resource to be ground into dust. That doesn't happen at LNRS.

Creating things that make people's lives better.

They are mature and fiscally conservative. Realistic.

Smart, nerdy people. My tribe.

Smart, driven, and funny. Haha

People genuinely seem to enjoy their work. We hire very smart people and encourage healthy teamwork.

They are visionary but also pragmatic. We have forward-looking products but treat our people better than startups do.

Flexibility to work from home. Chance to participate in Employee Resource Groups and CARES events to help the community.

Actually getting stuff done. Planning things, rolling them out, and seeing the behavior and culture change for the better.

They are dedicated to the cause and don't lapse in their responsibilities so that they end up falling on others (like me).

The ability to make a difference - helping people getting better prices on insurance, helping law enforcement find criminals, helping lost children return home.

They are fiscally conservative, so generally there is no need for layoffs. They don't overspend so that they don't have to shed excess employees.

They communicate clearly and effectively. And, at the very highest levels, they have good sources of non-MSM information to help guide the company thru a troubled economy.

In general, technology employees are underpaid at this company. Salaries are not even keeping up with inflation. By staying here, we are making the decision to essentially take a pay cut.

What would make me feel better? How about more of it? Employees regularly receive a 2.5% raise, which is laughable in the face of 8% to 10% inflation. This morning, i paid $6 for a gallon of gasoline to get to work. Yet, I am sure that the executives are handsomely compensated.
