As a recent joiner I was able to relatively quickly find my way, thanks to the support of team members, my manager and my mentor - this is despite having never worked for a large corporation (previous jobs at SMCs).

It has ups and downs. I was lucky to find the right people able to offer the right kind of support at the right time - without that I would have left due to passive aggressive ineffective management. I no longer report to the manager in question, I have been given more opportunities.
