I believe in the mission and enjoy dealing with my accounts but we make it so hard to work with us and the way we are compensated makes it very difficult to be motivated. If it takes 2+ years to see commission from a deal I close how am I going to be motivated to do that?

The folks on my team that care are great. There are several that don't care at all and it shows in their performance but no one does anything about it because they are buddies with the boss.

Our company culture is driven by Senior Leadership and it is very fair which creates an inclusive environment. However, I am a sales person and I am motivated by one thing--Sales Commission and we do a very poor job in that area.

We have to make our products compete with our competitors and currently they don't. We don't have the support from our technology or product group to accomplish that. It takes too long to implement our solutions and there is nothing going to change about that until senior leadership changes things.
Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?
Our insurance packages have too high of deductibles, there is no sense in even having insurance. Our VC program needs overhauled to the point of throwing it out and starting over. I know of at least 2 of my peers and myself that would leave right now if we found something else.

Let sales focus on new sales and not all the extra stuff that they ask to do that gets in the way. Then they have to adjust our comp plan to match how other software companies operate. No other software company makes their sales folks wait until a solution is implemented in order to get paid. Crazy
