
It’s a solid process Nordstrom seems to hire mainly good people who are artistic and free thinkers.
Keep focus on employees. Take employee feedback and HR mtings about management more seriously with more sense of urgency. You loose a lot of good employees in a year. Have store leasions that come from a “cooperate” level and audit management, especially if there r complaints(workingmainlyregionally
Most of my team members were amazing when the management was stable. After a Cosmetic manager change, the entire staff changed. The new manager was not enjoyable to work for and it directly trickled down to sales and eventually the customer service. Management treated people as replaceable.
I worked for Nordstrom for many years and do not work there anymore. I cannot day enough good things about Blake, Eric and whole whole Nordstrom family. I did not always have good direct leaders but these people were always eventually removed from their positions. I will always love Nordstrom.
The environment is good especially if you are lucky enough to work in a store with good HR and good management. I hope that Nordstrom continues to put effort into their employees. As a customer I appreciate familiarity and I feel it’s speaks badly on the leadership if their is an abundance of turno
