Oracle has horrible management. The workforce is under-valued; they are overworked under the "exempt" pretense, receive no bonuses, pay raises or recognition for their work. Performance evaluations highlight the bad and not the good. Good people leave or get fired once they get tired of the abuse.
Horrible management does not motivate employees. This is a serious issue that CEO and senior Mgmt should address. The issue is that the workforce nowadays is disposable; If one person leaves, someone will be there to take over. In modern Corporate America, the workforce is no longer an asset.
Employee base is unhappy; They do not want to do anything other than sit in front of their computer and work or pretend to work until time to leave. Many employees constantly texting, playing games on their phones and/or constantly on social media. Oracle does nothing to motivate the workforce.
My team is in India, they work hard but don't work well as a team with non-Indian. They manipulate the numbers to meet metrics, but in essence, they do not meet metrics. Mgmt is OK with manipulated numbers. US Mgmt needs to set expectations of Indian labor and demand proper processes.
