Heartland: each year, insurance goes up and up where its harder to get a good paycheck. when i first started 5 years ago, family insurance was about $100 and its close to $250 depending on what you choose. company we have now for fmla, set you an assign person who never answers
Public Storage: I am very proud to work for a successful company. Though the job will get tough and overwhelming at times, the fact that I have a stable paycheck, and a minimum guaranteed bonus makes up for it.

Because of the transition to e-rental and other innovative programs we have less control over our metrics yet are ranked heavily with move ins and show up.

I think some of our products have a tremendous positive impact on the society, and am proud of that fact. Although I feel I am not getting my worth in terms of compensation, overall, I really like working here.
Public Storage: My overall experience has been positive, there are several aspects of this job that are negative but the positive aspects outweigh the negative ones.

GE Vernova: Sailing through a stormy strait with rocks laid in a chaotic order around the ship, having only thing to warm my heart is the experience and ability not many possess to map it out and somehow get through to calm waters. But the strait does not seem to have an ending.

But the frequent changing org. and initiatives, the heavy/lagging systems (e.g. finance), the over reliance on sheer effort from employees and the perception gaps between employees/management makes it taxing

GE Vernova: Good group and good support. Often feels like Parts is lauded for financial performance but staff is underpaid and under valued. A bit of an island to itself, but a "safe" place to be.

GE Vernova: I started at GE more than 35 years ago, was in a business that was sold, and rehired in about 25 years ago. I wouldn't have stayed so long if I didn't love all of the challenges and opportunities I've had.

Heartland: My experience at Heartland has been positive. I have advanced and have the opportunity to lead projects and participate on various teams/focus groups.
