I am on the Recruiting Team and I have no idea what my leaders are doing all day. They are absent from their desks, not present at meetings, and don't communicate well. They need to be better at connecting with their own team.
The Head of Recruiting needs to do better by caring for his team. It doesn't help that he is so disconnected and can't seem to read the room. We see efforts but there is still much room for improvement. More honesty and more transparency please!
I know that others on the team are getting paid more than I am. I also feel that Instacart lacks in many of the small perks that other companies in The Bay Area offer. Bringing dogs to work, Uber credits, gym credit, phone bill discounts, etc.
