The commission paid on out of market contracts is 1.75%. This is extremely low. A $100,000 contract is still valued at $100,000 - regardless if it is sold in my market or another.
I bill out over $500,000 annually in out of state business. This is all local direct business that I developed - not through an agency. My compensation is 1.5% commission. Very low and not fair.
