I came here from a temp agency over 5 years ago. Since then, I've learned so much! I've been able to use more of my skills, and apply critical thinking every day. It's a challenge, but a fun challenge. I laugh daily. I get to help others inside and outside the office. It's a joy to be here.

I love this job. I love the variety of what I do. I love being able to help others with my work, whether internally or externally. I enjoy sitting in a meeting and having someone say that they wish they had a report that did...and going back to my office to find what they are wishing for.

I laugh every single day.

I mostly work with the sales team. They are hilarious. I laugh every day.

We all need to look out for each other. Sometimes there's a certain amount of "throwing each other under the bus."

The variety of the work. After 5-6 years I am still learning new things and applying skills I haven't yet applied.

I receive a monthly bonus for what I do over and above the role I play. I work even harder because of it.

They don't take what we do TOO seriously. They are serious but they don't get angry over mistakes. They value teaching and learning.

I am paid fairly. I also receive a monthly bonus for additional work I do beyond my job description. It makes me feel appreciated.

There is transparency here at Lamar. We know what's happening and what is planned. It's very unusual in a company this size, but I really appreciate it.

My team makes me laugh. There is never a meeting so intense that I haven't laughed heartily. We, for the most part, enjoy what we do and it shows in our interactions.

I have the perfect mix of independence and collaboration. I have responsibilities that I manage, but also times I need to work with others. My team works well together. The bosses I report to care about my work-life balance.

I receive a monthly bonus for the extra things I do. I love that. I love the stock option. Really love the stock option. The 401k is terrific. All of these things make for a stellar compensation package.

I have been told many times, "We are not curing cancer. We're hanging billboards." I make a mistake and I'm reminded of that mantra. We take our work seriously but understand that mistakes are made because we're human. Mistakes are corrected and we move on!

They know our team. They are invested in us personally as well as professionally. They prioritize instruction and training. Mistakes are corrected not punished. I feel "heard" when I have an idea for trying something new. I have a voice and influence our path forward.

We do a lot for public service organizations in our community. I am able to help many many organizations and individuals on a yearly basis. We have a culture of giving back to the community. We have luncheons, and quarterly treats which tell employees that we are valued.

Every day is different. I am challenged to problem solve and employ critical thinking on a daily basis. I find the work interesting and I love learning new things. We are connected to the businesses that advertise so I get to learn about new community businesses & think of creative way to market.
