Hybrid work/ability to work remote contributes to a positive culture and environment at Medela. Being on-site doesn't mean people will always be productive. Medela leadership understands performance matters - workers can perform just as well (or better) off-site as they do on-site.
PTO is an excellent perk at Medela. Many US companies are behind the ball when it comes to PTO, parental leave, sick leave etc. Performance is what matters, not penalizing workers for taking time off to be with family, loved ones, take a vacation, taking care of your health etc.
