Decent pay, medical, dental, vision, and much more ESOP.
I have a job I love and enjoy what I do which few people can say. Sometimes there are deadlines but overall I enjoy what I do and the people I work alongside.
We're actually a team in every sense of the word. I've never worked anywhere where you have such awesome and talented people not only in your specific discipline/field of expertise but across the board CR, NR, Waters, GIS
Job security I doubt I'll ever be hard pressed to find something to work on which is both good/bad sometimes but its great having that sense of security knowing that even if its slow there's still plenty to do.
Being able to do something I love and enjoy while also getting paid. Not many people can say they love their jobs. Sure there are good days and bad but overall being able to doing something you love is very fulfilling :)
Always willing to listen to issues and to address any of those issues immediately. Its definitely nice knowing someone is there to help even if you don't need anything - just the peace of mind that if you do someone is there to listen.
To me personally this is the first job that's put my degrees and academic experience to use. So coming directly from that working for SWCA seems like I never left. Collaborating with so different disciplines and learning news stuff daily/weekly - working with people who are experts in their fields.
Well we're now pretty close-knit, ONE SWCA, where if someone needs help they just ask and you've got a wealth of knowledge to pull from which is awesome! Also just the team mentality where we're all in this together and if someone is slammed with work they just need to reach out help.
Well vacation and wellness time. I just wish some of this could be paid out (annually if desired) since I know myself I'm at the max or near max for both, but it always seems like its so busy that there's never an opportunity to use the time. And after a while it quits building up.
