Overall overwhelmingly positive, I feel very fortunate to say that I've always had good teams, great leaders, great coworkers, and brilliant mentors. There have been hiccups along the way, but I've never felt that we couldn't solve them given a long enough timeline and enough help from colleagues.

worked my way up from the bottom to leading a great team, based on skils, abilities and support of great coworkers.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
paid premiums for health care insurance is huge, especially for employees who have dependents and spouses.
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel like I work in a place where I'm constantly surrounded by brilliant people who are open to sharing their knowledge and want to know more about yours!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The fact that medical healthcare premiums are paid for my family by Esri is a great perk and basically like getting a huge raise since it's not coming out of my salary!
What makes you most happy at work?
Doing and coordinating work amongst multiple teams full of super brilliant people (who are way smarter than me on the average) to get real value delivered in our product, for our users, and for our company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Overall GREAT! They clearly have good intentions at heart. It can sometimes be hard to ascertain motivation or "why" behind a decision, policy, or change, which requires managers individually reaching out to HR or relevant departments for clarification.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team genuinely cares about getting things done right for the user, and doesn't hesitate to share objections, concerns or question motivations. Also, we sometimes do as many as six impossible things before breakfast, so I'm proud of that too! :)
What do you like best about the leadership team?
the leadership of my project and product are very attuned to transparency and openly share priorities, motivations and drivers for our work. They are supportive when we need to push back on requirements or scope, and support a healthy work/life balance by leveraging agile development methodology.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The spirit of continuous, iterative improvement and empirical measurement of our success is great. Everyone is welcome to provide feedback and suggestions for these improvements during our retrospectives, and we make it a point to act on them in the next sprint, release or other increment of work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
my immediate team and the product teams we work with are clearly devoted to delivering quality functionality for our users. We have a culture of openness and transparency in all aspects of our work that really helps everyone be heard and diverse viewpoints accounted for in our daily work.
