Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
As someone that has left the company externally and returned, I can honestly say that LNRS offers a meaningful experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The work that we do here is challenging, exciting and impactful to the community and our customers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The systems in place (HireRight) to speed up the background check process.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team, the leadership and constant flow of new projects make me happy to work everyday.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team welcomes diversity and unique perspectives. Everyone is willing to try something new and hear new perspectives.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is within grasp unlike most other large companies. The communication and involvement from leadership shows how much the employees are valued.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My company provides an employer credit giving me a $0 cost healthcare option. We also receive ample paid time off and leave for maternity, foster care and adoption.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The employees are very approachable even at a senior level. If you need help with a project or are looking for ways to grow in your career, someome is there to be a mentor.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leaders are very transparent and authentic. The leadership team always follows through on promises made. If goals aren't hit, they always ensure that employees are aware of why they weren't achieved and what the plan is to achieve them next time.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that everyone wants to do better. From my specific team, to the larger business unit that we're a part of, all the way to the executive team. Everyone is striving to be better for ourselves, our teams and our customers.
What makes you most happy at work?
The ability to drive positive change in my role makes me the happiest. The work that I do matters and leads to improvements that benefit my team and the business. It's rare to be able to drive change in a mid-level role and I have that opportunity at LNRS.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is extremely intelligent and helpful. We are always pushing each other to learn more and develop our skills in a way that benefits our team and company. Everyone is willing to jump in and get the job done if one of us has a heavy workload and can't hit a deadline.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We don't offer competitive salary packages and it's difficult to get a promotion unless you move to another team or leave the company. We shouldn't punish employees for wanting to stay on the same team and get a promotion. Internal move salaries should be treated the same as a new hire (market rate)
