20+ years in technology, basically doing the same thing for the past 10+ which is too long. I think folks used to care more 10 years ago and thus try harder, And I miss the enthusiasm of an entire team being overworked. But not much teamwork any longer and the drive is waning.

20+years starting as an engineer, tapped to be in management, placed into a role not overly satisfying, wanting to be make a significant contribution but not really in a place to do so.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Wth fear you will not ask about what I don;t like, Too many people from management down do not want to be honest in tough times. Folks are scared to provide disappointing news. We could be more productive it folks were not so scared, And I do not get it as the culture here is well in this area.
