Clear direction on expectations of increasing revenue targets.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The relationships we have cultivated within the team. Sales training/mentorship has strong internal focus and leads with positive coaching styles. Other managers willing to support and participate. Head of Sales for region leads with positivity and encouragement overall.
What makes you most happy at work?
Doing well by our customers and providing valuable support and resources for their success. Winning through a collaborative sales cycle. Driving team engagement and participating in continued educational practices. Learning about the industries and customers that we support.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Team strongly relies on one another for support. All but one on the team is very willing to engage with supportive functions and active coaching for other team members. We are building an environment where we all win together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary a few points lower than direct competition in the field. Commision structure is limiting, not related directly to won revenue but to arbitrary targets set by unknown or otherwise unclear external factors that set an expectation of what a customer should pay.
