Sadly, the treatment I have experienced in the last year by a Manager has ensured I have had a very negative experience, which makes me fearful of my job and cannot speak out. The Manager told total lies about me (and has brought HR cases against other staff too). HR have been totally negligent
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Great compensation pacakage - pension contributions + healthcare cover are great
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The overall company has an amazing ethos, however on a local level we have a very toxic environment, whereby staff have no respect for their colleagues and the senior leadership team will not acknowledge the problems
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Our leadership team are very weak, have very little interest in their staff and certainly do not value their strong workers. We have seen many good staff leave in the last 18 months due to the very bad treatment of staff
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The treatment by the SLT is not great. I have been told to take on other duties which are not discussed with me prior to this and when I push back on this, I then see the toxic behaviour of one particular manager. The treatment I have received from HR is absolutely abhorrent.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I have experienced bullying in the workplace in the last year. This was witnessed by another member of the team, however as the person was more senior than me, when it was referred to HR, it was totally turned around and I was told I could have a complaint put down on my record about me. No support
