Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It's a good company with potential to be great. The company is generally slow (or even very slow), but when there is potential to make/lose significant revenue, things can move very fast. I wish we had more of that urgency speed in our day-to-day, so we could be a bit more proactive vs. reactive.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Smart, analytical and always supporting

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My leadership team is open, offers clear guidance, and excels in approachability, fostering a psychologically safe environment.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay is not amazing, or even great, for my location. I like working here for other reasons than the pay.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a place with a lot of helpful and approachable people. We want to win and do so often while refusing dirty tricks, something that's easy to take for granted.

What makes you most happy at work?

I get to work with talented people to solve problems that matter, and WIN a lot of business in the process. We care about our customers problems and we love to win, which makes for a fun environment.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's a positive culture and generally happy and engaged environment. Every leader isn't great, but very few (zero in my direct vicinity) are awful or mean spirited. In general, there is a low tolerance for a**holes, which makes for a pleasant environment.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

PTO allowance. Notably, our leadership sets a positive example by taking their own time off, which encourages me to prioritize my own breaks and come back rejuvenated. This practice greatly contributes to a balanced and well-supported work environment - and much less stigma about taking time off

What are some of the best things about your team?

While our matrix can be complex and very frustrating when attempting change, it also lets me interact with a lot of different departments and people, and you generally find passionate people the care for what they do. It is inspiring to work with people that care (and are good at their jobs).

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I know them to be good people, and they seem to genuinely care about the people that work here, beyond 'just' the business value of having happy and engaged personnel. What I like the most, is that they foster a culture of psychological safety, where the next great idea can come from anyone.

What makes you most happy at work?

When we achieve a positive outcome. It's easy to get bored when stuck in long processes without clear outcomes - something I'm fortunate to not deal with that often. Another thing that excites me at work is when we manage to move at speed, something that really is possible here (just not always)
