Coworkers are friendly and helpful

What are some of the best things about your team?

- Collaboration and support in spite of continual lack of senior leadership support or recognition.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

SLT needs more people that have more direct experience in petchems markets. It needs to listen to staff, and resource better. If a 7pm publishing target needs to be set in objectives (meaning most cannot finish within contracted hours) it is clear workload expectations are unreasonably broadly.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

- clear communication - Understanding core business and business drivers - Show caring for workforce - e.g. don't use leaving announcements to plug AskICIS - Not discriminating against workers that cannot physically attend the office - Change management - Allowing forums for employee ideas

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

- Benefits have been contiuously erroded - Leadership place no value in writting skill - pay rises are below inflation despite high company profits. The company should provide fair pay - The company should reverse the decision to scrap union representation without consultation with editorial staff
