Overall, I have never once taken my job for granted. I have been given an opportunity to work in a capacity where my individual voice matters and I have the potential to think outside the box. I do feel the company has taken care of me in my tenure.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People truly care about others which helps in the growth and progression of the company overall.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how our leadership team accomodates the company to to try to keep us safe, healthy, engaged and employed. Other companies are unable to provide the stability that our leadership does.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people on my team work extremely hard and often go above and beyond for each other and for the customer. Everyone is willing to help out where needed even with very limited time and resources.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy at work when I make positive contributions that make notable impacts to our business and success in company initiatives. Sometimes these can be small like helping another employee in accomplishing something, or big like helping move the needle on a larger project.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have an employee that reports to me that is at a lower level. He makes a significant amount higher than me in salary. I feel that I am underpaid. Others on my team are also working above their job level and have not seen increases in salary or promotions that are absolutely needed.
