I have seen a lot of changes in my tenure and there has been a downhill trend since we purchased Vivint. I have seen so many departments losing sight of what matters, providing our customers with a good product and great service.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is a desire and focus to complete work.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We do have good health benefits and I think the options offered are great for all walks of life.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Generally, interdepartmental relationships are pretty easy to build. Most people are open to working together to change things for the better.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
A lot of departments have been taken over by someone who previously ran sales. In general, Sales has a slimy/shady stereotype and our company is shifting to this, it is not reassuring to see.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Determining a direction and sticking to it. Making decisions that are for the betterment of the company, i.e. being proactive instead of reactive fire drills - just smarter business practices. This has gotten much worse since purchasing Vivint.
