It was great before the org change of early 2022. Now work life is hostile. I haven't had a good day in months. No one is held accountable for anything and now everything is imbalanced. I have no reason to work as hard as I do for this company, we get treated awfully by management/directors.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership needs to be better at being leaders. There is no leading here, only dictating. When EVERY supervisor is reporting bad news and noone is happy, you'd think management would care?
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because character is not a factor in any way shape or form within Sunrun. Sunrun preaches values, but doesn't appreciate or recognize employees with values; speed and money is the only factor in Sunrun.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very little is positive; mostly just fake smiles. Sunrun has created a toxic environment by stretching every employee to their limit and repeatedly "moving the goalpost". Noone is comfortable in their position anymore and it only created competition and cutting corners.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Completely replace managers and directors with people who actually have experience working the jobs they're managing. Our leadership is SO OUT OF TOUCH that they don't believe or hear anything we say. It's shrugged off as complaining, but I hate waking up to work here now.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best parts of our teams is that we have become close friends through the 2 years of total stress in Sunrun. Sunrun leaves us high and dry with little to no foresight into their process changes; and it is US the employees that actually make it happen. With little to no help from managment.
