I have been able to be promoted several times within the company due to my hard work & dedication to do so. Overall I feel like my skills have been recognized & I enjoy my job. Pay is slightly better than most other companies, but I believe it should be higher for those who have the #'s to prove it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the fact that my supervisor, specifically, is always there to help me out & doesn't let his "meetings" stop him from being an active supervisor.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I would say the incentives, and prizes from different competitions that are held between the departments. As well as bare minimums such as decent pay, health insurance, & working from home. Having more freedom due to WFH.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am happy to work for Sunrun, and I do a great job here, but at the same time I have a lot of pressure to do my best, which both stems from Sunrun and from myself. It's not my dream job, but I do very much get satisfaction from my job.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
A lot of people can be passive aggressive via chats and texts, so I tend to stay away from that, as well as the fact that I feel like people don't actually care about what I have to say as well as the fear of judgment or being commented on. Some coworkers are cool, but I tend to focus on work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not believe that $15.25 as a top performer, who puts a ton of effort into my job, is enough. I work very hard, and life costs much more now as inflation rises, and I believe I am worth more than that an hour for the work I put into this company, where I am taking my time to serve Sunrun.
