I've had good leadership but regardless of the direct support, there's still so much more that can be done. It is not comforting to know you are carrying your team. It often feels like things aren't improved until it's too late.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There is so much excitement brought to meetings that doesn't feel genuine. We dance around real issues to celebrate how money is being spent, which is frustrating to employees who feel they are not compensated well for their job
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Better understanding of the role and more accountability in learning, retaining, and following the correct process. A lot of mistakes are regularly made and it's clear people do not have what it take to do the job and nothing changes.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Annual raises are not covering the cost of living increases. Inflation is estimated at 8% and it is rumored that employees who "crush it" will receive no more than 4%. Money is allocated to swag when it could be better invested in the employee.
