It has been very a tough transition to a new industry and products. Every week seems to be a learning experience, which can be concerning, however I have found that everyone has been open to answering questions and helping new industry people learn.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All seem to be very open and collaborative. It really does feel like everyone is listening and wants others to be heard. In the end we are all looking for whatever is best for Tenable.
What makes you most happy at work?
Right now I am very new in to my role and trying to figure out what will ultimately bring me happiness in the workplace. Right now the compensation and benefits work very well for our family and make us very happy.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Seem very understanding to the work/life balance. Everyone is working toward growing Tenable and putting out the best for our customers, but the leadership team makes employees feel that their life outside of the office is just as important as the goals of the company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The PTO and remote work. In my situation, this allows more time with my family, to explore with trips but continue to stay on top of all of my work. The flexibility with work and location has been a complete game changed for me and my family.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
How accommodating they are to employees with children. They take time during calls if you need to help around the house, if your child needs to be in the room during a call or if you need to stay off camera/mute for the majority because you're helping with your children.
