Our CTO is very approachable and honest. This allows for an extremely open and comfortable atmosphere, allowing ideas and conversations to flow freely.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team is motivated almost entirely by chasing shiny objects in the hope that it will bump up the stock price. They are obsessed with their competitors, and the people who join our leadership team are rarely qualified to lead.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as my compensation to start was a little low for my experience and expertise. I find the PTO and Sick days to be somewhat lacking compared to other companies I have worked at as well.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Overall, from a higher end it's awesome and I love it. Few points - Ensure that you have at least a person with core technical competencies when hiring for a specific role say performance. - It would be good practice to have an HR round that helps filter out unprofessional attitude or behaviour

Too much focus on growth without focusing on getting the fundamentals on solid footing that will better support that growth.

Nowadays Tenable is driven entirely by the sales and marketing team. The people who least understand our products are making decisions they should not. Also these are very large teams now considering all the moving pieces in the products.
