This group was miserable and I tried for a year to make it more pleasant to no avail.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It was too much of a clique like environment and they didn’t like new people or outsiders. They were horrible to try to work with
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I’ve worked with other groups who were all kind and supportive of one another but my last group was horrible. The climate was dictated from our VP. They all followed her like puppy dogs.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They will always offer compensation on a lower scale or offer a promotion without proper compensation. Twice we had new HR analyst come in and suggest huge pay increases because we weee. It being paid appropriately.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
My mgr didn’t care what hours you worked but she expected you stayed until a task was done. She didn’t care if it was 10Pm and you were in the office at 8am. She didn’t respect a work life balance.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
My manager was too busy and not aware of the job function I was hired for. Because of this there wasn’t training available for my hired job function. Once my mgr was made to focus on my job function, it was obvious there were problems and no need to two people to complete this job function.
