I've spent over 12 years here. I am about to leave to go back to school and make a better life for myself. I could not grow to the level I wanted to in the 12 years there. I kept getting promised opportunities that disappeared due to "restructuring"

Nothing. They are managers, not leaders.

I felt like I was only able to get a job here based on my connections.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all realize the shortcomings of the company but support one another as best as we can.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Care about its people. We are profitable and can survive another economic downturn. Focus on keeping your people and provide growth opportunites.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is no support or mentorship for advancing in the company. Everyone is just looking out for their own interests and making sure you won't take their spot.
