They are very available and accessible. Algolia is a relatively "flat" company...and leadership is engaged with many of the employees across the company, not just their direct reports.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Came in at a time when they were not paying top dollar. Since we have hired a number of people in more junior positions that have higher salaries than my own. A review and adjustment across teams is long overdue.

With inflation and compared to comparable positions at peer businesses the compensation could be better.

We are rarely compensated for Side-projects, unless we push our managers for it, which helps Algolia grow & generate revenue.
