When I first started with ASSA ABLOY, I wanted to make a name for myself and make a life changing career advancement. Now almost 2 years in, I fear that my position has no opportunities of career advancement, which has forced me to look elsewhere for other career advancement opportunities.
What makes you most happy at work?
The fact that I get to come into the office and face new challenges and scenarios every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The time, effort, and care they all invest to know everyone individually. As well as making an attempt to engage with everyone during our breaks and lunches.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The vast backgrounds, along with the sacrifices we make for one another. We as a team can accomplish our task and goals, even when we have our set backs.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The monthly department meetings and themes we can put on in the office. It not only shows that we can come together and open up regarding about the past, but also, we can brighten up the mood going forward.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe that the skills that I bring to the team that I am apart of are not valued enough. Along with the responsibilities that have been added to me since I have started, make me feel undervalued and underappreciated with the pay that I receive.
