I like my job for the most part, and feel that it has been a great learning experience for me. However, there are limited opportunities for me to grow outside of my current role. I feel as though I need to find another job to continue growing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct supervisor is phenomenal. They approach everyone with the same respect and understanding. They make work an enjoyable experience because I always feel supported.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy when the majority of my coworkers are in the office on the same days. I like my team and enjoy being able to talk to them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There are constant additions to our workload with no reprieve. It feels like upper management is willing to add additional steps to processes without addressing the root of the issue.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The new renovations have made the office more enjoyable to be at. I look forward to summer hours and the small events the company does, like food trucks or slushies, that I've enjoyed in the past.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The entire department takes hits for one employee's inability to meet clearly communicated expectations. Being late, procrastinating work, etc., falls on the rest of the team to absorb. There are no consequences for the individual, but instead, for the group.
