It started out great my first few months, then after the summer it seemed as if I am being pushed out of the store by one particular person.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Experience is great other than lack of training, and childish behavior from certian co workers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I think they should work on their hiring process, and better training.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a part time employee and therefore now qualified to receive any benefits.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The store manager was very honest with me about drive time vs store time.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My coworkers are just immature, and would rather speak negatively about you and ignore you when you're on shift.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop hiring children. A workplace as small as our stores the employees should know that any animosity is a bad idea.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that every other Friday I get paid, and when I get paid I will be able to pay some of my bills even though I am homeless.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The store manager is the biggest positive. He knows when to pull you to the side and have a conversation to bring you back to an even mood.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The comfort factor was the best for me. During my interview the store manager apologized for not having an office and our interview having the possibility of being interrupted.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The best thing about my leadership team is the open line of communication. I can present anything to them as a concern or suggestion and I know I will be heard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Major concern is only two women in my store and on of them has a bad attitude towards the other one. The other woman is just trying to feed her kids and doesn't interact with the younger one because due to her drama.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel I am undervalued due to lack of communication, as well as seeing others hired after myself receiving the type of training I should have received. Another issue I have is that I was told I would be moved to full time yet denied for the position.
