That they are willing to continue working and pivoting to try and get our product and approach the best it can be, and take our feedback to do so along the way.

Transparency in the business strategy, relationships and financials. This helps ground my team in why we're on the trajectory we need to be, and helps us feel empowered to achieve against company goals.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Year-on-year raises are not very high, we are not keeping up with inflation which means a pay loss each year. Having raises that take into account inflation and THEN have a merit increase on top of that would make me feel more valued. Also having more robust health insurance options.

Compared to other companies, and the rising cost of living it's very apparent that we're not on equal footing. We lose people to higher paying jobs. We need to keep up not just with competitors but other start up, tech, and marketing firms if we want to win new people and retain current ones.

What are some of the best things about your team?

They are friendly, professional, intelligent, and responsive. Great teammates to work with.

They are super smart, highly engaged individuals. We deeply value collaboration and we live well by that standard.

I work on the most supportive, caring team. If anyone needs anything, there are hands shooting up all over the place offering support and coverage. And they are super fun to work with so that doesn't hurt!

They are collaborative and energetic. We all operate with good intent.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people, the energy, the ideas.

The company seems to really be backing our DEI initiatives, and is trying to restructure the company culture team in order to adapt to COVID times. How both end up going is still to be determined, but it's nice to see that they're at least giving it a little effort.

We're always learning and evolving as a company, as a team, and as individuals. The organization encourages feedback at all levels and makes effort to collect that.

The inclusive culture and the comradery - we are all in it together.

When I have days where I can focus and get the work done so I can then focus on the extra initiatives I'm also trying to move forward apart from client work.

Pleasing a client under challenging circumstances. Working with amazing coworkers.

I've got a solid group of coworkers that I can talk to about pretty much anything. Leaning on them for help with work, talking about life outside work, everything. It's pretty safe to say that 2020 would have been 10x worse if I didn't have this group of people to talk to on an almost daily basis.
