Ive been at Costco for over 6 years now and I hope to move up in the company. Although there isnt a lot of promotion within the warehouse floor, there are a lot of opportunities in the corporate section,
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was fairly straight forward, I was given several scenarios in which the interviewer guaged how I would react.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay is above average, but not spectacular. However, the stock options and free memberships for myself and immediate family is definitely a bonus.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like knowing ive done a good job at the end of the day and perhaps made a customer's day with my customer service and smiles.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Customer service is a focus along with team members working with each other. Our store has annual company picnics and outings which is great. I get paid to hang out with my coworkers!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
One thing I do love about working at my local Costco is the emphasis on customer service. No matter what, I am always advised to provide the best experience for all Costco members that walk in the door.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team always has each other's back. There are many days at the customer service lines that are extremely hectic, but we try to never show we are frazzled and my coworkers always manage to make me laugh despite sometimes want to strangle some very rude customers!
