What is the best part about your compensation package?

The salary is very competitive and the equity is fair. The compensation tilts towards high salaries which suits most people.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team although small is packed with very adept individuals; working as a team is a pleasure and you really appreciate the quality of the people.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Everyone was friendly and although there were a lot of coderpad sessions, I think the focus was on the ability rather than the semantics of the questions.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture is very empathetic with everyone acknowledging the reality of people's situations. No-one expects people to be motivated because they get to use the shiny new technology; instead they focus on a realistic reward and perk structure.

What makes you most happy at work?

I most enjoy the chance to have an impact. This is because Credit Karma is in the sweet spot of being big enough to make moves into new markets, but small enough that an individual's role still matters.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leadership team has a level of transparency I have never experienced before. This is a double edged sword; however I am a firm believer of honest, straight-forwardness which they excel at. When the conversation is hard they don't shy away and act like it never happened, they face it head-on.
