They seem to genuinely care for employees and the CK mission. They provide surprise perks to bolster morale, and it works.

After working in several companies, I feel the leadership team genuinely care about its members and employees and puts them before revenue. Every company says they do that, but in my experience it doesn't happen in practice. Here it does as much as possible

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The benefits are incredible. Maybe it is by nature of being a California-based company, but the benefits are above and beyond most I've encountered in the Charlotte area.

One of the best benefits is the amount we get for personal development. You can go to conferences, buy books, subscriptions etc.

Credit Karma pays for the role, which means all employees of a specific role are paid the same thing. A big step for equality of pay for all genders and ethnicities.

What are some of the best things about your team?
The team works independently a lot of the time, but collaboration (albeit cross-country) is never an issue.

They are all friendly and helpful. Nobody thinks they are above others although they are all super smart

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Diversity is completely embraced. This makes for enriched conversations and decisions, this makes everyone feel included and valued as everyone else. This allow people to be themselves and be fully productive and happy

They are thorough and selective about who they bring to the final round in SF.
