it's different than i would have expected -- in a much better way. i've worked at other mission-driven companies, but in some ways, those other companies were almost cult-like. in this case, we have a mission-driven company that is laid back but fast-paced and gets things done -- by smart people.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Credit Karma is one of the best places I've ever worked. Truly a place where folks take pride in their work and feel good about the impact they're having in the world. But also, the leadership team genuinely cares about the employee base... it's not just talk... and that's rare (in my experience).

The leadership team is one of the most empathetic executive team I've ever seen at a company of any size, big or small.

The congenial nature that came through from the interviewers -- I could tell they were a good group and that they enjoyed working together.

Base is very competitive and equity is valuable. Intuit (parent company who acquired us) is a SOLID company with a LONG track record of good results.

There is a lot of transparency here -- really helps everyone to see the fruits of their labor and understand their impact on our members -- and beyond.

I like that we're on a positive mission of financial progress for all - and that we have a good time working with another to make it all happen.
