There are things that should be improved by leadership but instead the buck gets passed and employees get blamed. The culture feels phony, the contests should be profit sharing bonuses, I'm stressed every day, overworked, underpaid, and I'm actively interviewing at other companies so I can leave.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture seems forced and insincere.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Better pay, and actual bonuses instead of games and contests.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher pay and better bonuses. The fact that our bonuses are basically contests instead of profit sharing or something is kind of insulting. Not to mention the grocery store gift card. I'd rather have no bonus than an insult.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I don't feel appreciated other than by the small team I work directly with. I feel overworked, underpaid, and I regret showing my skillset because now I just work harder without added benefit. Compensating skilled, hard workers with something other than contests and merch would be nice. Like money
