Cross Country as a whole is an amazing company. I have answered these questions specific to my division. Overall, changes in the hiring process of candidates and attitude of leadership is subpar.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My coworkers. They are kind, helpful and work hard.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Acting like a human and not a robot. Everything that comes from our departments leadership sounds scripted. No one is treated like a person.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The way my division is set up, I'm not sure it will succeed without significant changes. The entire hiring process is far too long. More often than not, it takes 4-6 weeks for a candidate to start working.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Due to the territory I'm assigned (hard market), I need work 5x as hard as Recruiters in other easy areas. Commission is only paid after 5 hires for the month. I have never been paid commission due to working in an impossible area. Whereas the easy areas are paid commission consistently.
