Unfortunately when Cummins Inc took over, many people were laid off, and the work load was just pushed off to the next person. Our insurance coverage isn't great either. You'd think for a multinational company, they would take better care of their employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
Flexibility for appointments and understanding from my managers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I interviewed as a temp. It was a phone interview.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our focus on safety really makes sure our techs go home safe each day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager is easy to talk to and works with me when needed, especially when i went through medical treatments.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most employees in our branch are easy to get along with and very friendly. Several of them always have my back when i need assistance.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It took several years (about 6) to get a raise. I also feel the benefits (medical) don't cover enough for women and are aimed at only the male employees.
