working at Cummins is not ideal for any person with a family. They do not understand that personal family things come up and you may need a day off unexpectedly. i have watched countless fellow employees be fired for having to take an unexpected day off and not be allowed to use their PTO to cover.

not playing favorites and treating every employee as equal

quick reasonable questions and was easy to talk to

the few people that make it enjoyable most days. the people that understand we are there to work but also need to have fun conversations to pass the day
What are some of the best things about your team?
on the line there are ones that make work fun but also some that make being there not so fun. always one on each line that like to cause drama
What is the best part about your compensation package?
it all looks ok but being able to use vacation time when needed is hard to do when they deny it due to having too many people off on the same day in the building.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
they need to understand we all have family and a life outside of our job. We would like time to enjoy it especially on the weekends. maybe they could look into hiring just a weekend shift!!!!!
